Indianapolis Indiana IN 1923 photo postcard of the Packard Team of Joe Boyer, Ralph De Palma, Dario Resta and Col. J. G. Vincent, the engineer, and one of the Indy 500 Packard race cars. DePalma won the 1915 Indy 500 and finished 15th in 1923 due to a head gasket problem after 69 laps. Joe Boyer started in 13th place and finished in 18th with differential problems after 59 laps. Dario Resta won the 1916 Indy 500 and finished 14th in 1923 due to differential problems after 87 laps. Photo by W. Frank Jones of Indianapolis Indiana. Postcard was glued on black picture album page and cut off the page so there is no information visible on the back. Front side is in very good condition with bumps on the bottom corners and was carefully trimmed from the album page.
