About Moody's Collectible Vintage Postcards ~

The company was founded in 1986 during the baseball card craze and has gone through several changes of focus over the years. Initially, we sold sports cards which we discontinued in 1991 to concentrate on sports autographs and sports memorabilia while ramping up the postcard business. We began closing out the sports items at the end of 1997 to devote all of our energy to the postcard business.

We began selling on eBay in April of 1998 and opened this website in August of 2000 and stocked it with over 6,000 cards. We also built an eBay store which reached a peak of over 10,500 postcards this year. Unfortunately, we began to rely on the eBay store and concentrated on it the last 2 years while the website languished.

Then, in July of 2006, eBay put the last straw on this camel’s back and hiked their prices to unreasonable levels and we began a redesign of this website and started to move the 10,500 items from eBay to here, www.MoodysPostcards.com. This change will take several months so please bear with us while we build you a better shopping experience.

Our specialty is United States view postcards but we have 50,000 more postcards including lots of topics and foreign views which we will be adding as time allows. Our goal is to provide you with superior selection and service and to exceed your expectations.

We are members of IFPD, the International Federation of Postcard Dealers and we thank you for your time and support.
